Each year at our church we have a worship time and then we play games and eat massive quantities of food for New Years Eve. We watch the local Tv programing and shout happy new year at midnight. It's lot's of fun and it's an opportunity for us to actually visit with each other.
Quite often we are so busy on Sundays helping and going to classes and all that we don't get to visit with a lot of the people that we go to church with. So here we are playing games, laughing, eating, visiting and the teens and pre-teens hang out and goof off.
Some teens, young adults and Jenny (the young at heart). My hubs is on the right at another table.
Playing a game and taking care of baby. Of course the babies go around & around from person to person until they're completely overwhelmed. I got to hold this little one about 3 or 4 times. He smelled like baby shampoo and he was sweet as honey.
Sweet sisters and one hubby.
Two of our worship team members. The singing and music was so wonderful this night. It was really nice because we sang for over an hour. On Sundays we don't get that much time, understandably. My throat was scratchy when we finished. But it was worth it.
I'll say it again...do ya think we had enough food? I've been saying that at every party and dinner I've been to.
You know Nan in the red hoodie from momstheword. If not, she is responsible for getting me into blogging. She's also my pastor's wife and my son's, friend's mom. If that makes any sense to you.
My daughter & her friend saying "Happy New Year".
Some of the teens and pre-teens. My daughter is in the blue and yellow T-shirt.
One more teen. Today is his birthday. This is Jenny's son.
Now, this is my hubs a couple days later after taking down and storing the Christmas decorations. Happy New Year hubby. You did a great job as usual.

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know that I am working on arise 2 write. Are you having this problem with any other sites. I started have trouble with many sites and changed web browsers and now I can access them all. I am now using mozila foxfire. However, I am getting ready to go three column and someone else said they had trouble with the width of the page. I have already had that re-adjusted. I feel like I have been battling a lot lately with the enemy. I know GOD must be up to something big. It is a little...actually a lot scary, but I know HE is greater and the battle is HIS.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, hugs, and prayers,
andrea
