What Have I Been Up To?

It's been a busy day and I have many pictures, but since it's getting late and I'm tired I'll just give a hint as to what I've been up to.

Do I look suspicious? Actually I'm happy and a little tired from digging around in old leaves under a tree looking for this...

Why would I look for this, you might ask? Because I want to add it to my collection like this...

I'm stamping in my "Letterboxing Notebook" with the stamp that was in that camoflauge bag that said "this is a letter box..."

I've posted before about Letterboxing. It's a fun hobby and some other bloggers do it I've discovered. It's a good way to get the family out and about together. We found two Letterboxes today and hiked on easy trails for probably a good 45 minutes.

My kids moaned and groaned until we started walking the trails and reading clues. Once we found the first one the rest of the day was easy. I don't know why it's so hard for them to want to go do things, but they usually warm up to whatever we're doing after we've been there a while.
